Guys Cross Nursing Home is committed to providing a home and not an institution.

We empower each individual in our care, to develop and grow to their full potential. All care planned and given is entirely resident led and focused on recovery, we ensure the individual’s rights, privacy and dignity are met at all times.

Individualised care is offered twenty four hours a day, by highly trained staff who fully appreciate the specialist needs of the residents.

A holistic approach is maintained that is responsive to individuals needs taking into account race, religion, culture, age, disability, gender and sexuality, each service user is regarded as an individual with unique strengths and needs.

Residents are supported in taking well assessed risks to enhance their personal development.

A comprehensive range of policies and procedures are in place alongside the Service Users Guide and Statement.

Links with the local and larger community including adult education, and employment opportunities are encouraged. The wide selection of activities provided by Guys Cross, ranging from, one to one sessions, to therapeutic group activities provide the residents with improved quality of life and a greater independence.
