At Guys Cross we provide an exceptionally high standard of care services to all our residents; many of whom may have lived in other residential / long term hospital placements that did not fully meet their needs.
The open door system of management, high staffing levels, established well trained staff team and unique philosophy all work together to ensure that all residents who move to Guys Cross are accepted with “fresh eyes”.
We have devised our own recovery model – The Guys Cross Recovery Model. Our recovery model places the focus directly on the individual and clearly identifies how we can best assist the individual to live their life to its maximum potential.
We have a very flexible approach to meeting care needs and we are able to rescale care provisions to ensure that all fluctuations in care needs can be met.
We have staff trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centered Counseling and Human Givens Therapy. We are also able to offer a phlebotomy service with several staff trained to take blood tests.
