Staff
Each unit is managed on a day to day basis by the unit manager. All managers are RMN trained and have a minimum of two years experience working within a similar field / environment.
All support workers are trained to a minimum of NVQ level 2. Senior support workers are trained to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
All staff undertake a comprehensive in house training schedule that is revised each year. The training schedule includes all mandatory training plus amongst other things:
- Understanding and knowledge of mental health needs.
- Recognition of signs and symptoms of mental health deterioration.
- Recovery focussed interaction / interventions.
- Crisis intervention training.
- Anti-discrimination.
- Non-toleration of abuse.
External training courses are undertaken as appropriate.
Management:
The Responsible Individual, David Stickley (RMN) carries out all duties and responsibilities as required by the Care Standard Regulations.
All units are overseen by the General Manager, Tracey Stickley (RMN).
